We're all in this..

Have you ever had that person in your life, who you know is going through some mental or emotional turmoil, but is unwilling to share it with you ?

Thanks to the advent of the internet and social media, we are gradually becoming more and more aware about mental health. Many of us know the importance of talking openly about our mental health issues. In fact, when Covid-19 pandemic came upon us for the first time, there was a campaign on Facebook where people were volunteering to listen to the mental health issues of their friends and family members. It's refreshing to see that the taboo surrounding mental illness is slowly being eradicated.

But we have to understand that a person will not be ready and willing to share their story all the time. Everyone needs to take their time to comprehend their situation, collect their thoughts and regain their composure. How can someone share his or her pain with you if they can't put it into words themselves ? Pressurizing them to talk about their issues will only worsen their condition.

Everyone needs time to mourn and grief. Let's normalize that. Some people need days, some need weeks and a few may even take months. Let's normalize that. Everyone has their own way of coping with mental turmoils. LET'S NORMALIZE THAT.

If you are in pain, we hope that you take as long as you need to calm yourself down and make sense of your situation. And when you're ready to share your story, feel free to contact Oroddho Health where our trained listeners will hear your story and give you all the support you need, free of cost.

Take your time, take our help and take a leap forward to a better tomorrow....
