Not all wounds are visible

How often do you get to hear from your family, friends that “You have got everything in life and there is absolutely nothing to have mental issues about”? And that’s when you start having second thoughts about opening up to people and the situation gets worst when you think it’s better to keep silent rather than opening up with your friends and family. When a person commits suicide or starts taking drugs out of depression, we take zero seconds to judge and just be on the safe side. People post pictures of victim with the caption “We were there to hear you. You didn’t have to take this step, you could have approached us if you were facing problems” So judgmental ! But actually have you ever thought of it ? Everyone wants to live if they get the option to do so. Everyone wants to get some extra minutes in life. If it wasn’t true why people would spend millions on the hospital bills so that they can live for some more days ? But we make the person so helpless that they feel like there is no option left, who was already suffering from mental issues. When you have a physical issue, some symptoms are visible on the body and people get this; it even gets cured after taking a paracetamol. But what about mental issues? Just because the symptoms are less prone to get noticed, is it negligible? The ugly truth is that you can have a life with comforts and you can be grateful. Despite all of these, you can still have mental issues. It’s absolutely normal, trust me ! So it’s absolutely okay to feel low even after having the comforts. The best part is that is the only time you can heal by telling yourself some affirmations “I love myself. I am strong enough to get over this” Nobody can make you feel better and happy the way you can do. You are a fighter who deserves to be happy maybe not now but tomorrow or day after tomorrow.
