Don't worry, my friend. I can understand that you can't share everything with me. It may be the recent loss of a loved one, a bad break-up, the one exam that keeps getting postponed, a job that is not treating you well. But I also want you to understand that you can't blame yourself for all the things that go wrong in your life. No matter how many times you tell yourself that you are the reason the relationship did not work or it was you that failed to save your loved one, it will not change what has already happened. Rather, it will initiate a viscous cycle of self-sabotage that will damage you mentally and make you prone to even more unwanted events in life.

I urge you to be kind to yourself for a little while. We know that moving on is easier said than done. But take a moment to think about the worst situations you have ever faced. I'm sure it was depressing and gruelling, but you have survived those situations and are alive to fight another day ! If you could do it in the past, you can surely do it again. I promise you- this too shall pass....
